It was my first experince trying out the salon. 
The interior of the salon was great and it seemed professional. However , I was surprised on how things weren't proceeding too well with my experience. I honestly expected a well done haircut since I've seen reviews regarding how the stylists were well complimented for their professional work. 
I was welcomed in a polite way but then things were progressing along not too well. With an uncomfortable position to wash my hair to the most opposite hairstyle expectation that I have ever experienced. I believe my stylist name was Peter. He was a friendly gentleman but I honestly should have chosen a different stylist. My two stars is given to reflect on my experience , otherwise , the original is a 4.5-5star for the salon in general.

Had a great experience there. Walked in and was immediately seated. Although the position for washing my hair was not too comfortable, I did get a great haircut. Will definitely be back in the future. 

Also note that while you can pay by card, tips are cash only!

These guys are pretty great hair stylists. I've had all good experiences with them aside from my last hair cut. The stylist was fast but the "trim" I wanted really was that. My hair was barely cut... I needed to get another cut just over a week later. Not a great experience but would still generally recommend.

I've been going here for about a year and sometimes it's hard to get exactly what I want but it has never been a really bad haircut. It really does matter which stylist you go to. I've used Danny and Jane for men's and they seem skilled enough. It is hard to get them to deviate from what they think is best and when they don't it doesnt come out exactly how I expected. Overall they do a pretty good job for Korean men's hair, I can't seem to find anywhere much better. I am extremely picky. I'd rather go to my stylist in 압구정 but it's too far, lol.

Jun, my guy, is not only a hairstylist—he's an artist. I cannot recommend him highly enough for men's cuts. As long as you are able to precisely describe your preferred style, Jun will have no problem delivering the result, as he has done for me since 2010. 

KSY salon staff is friendly, the vibe is hip but not suffocating, and well worth the money.
