Their return policy is a scam. Received $45 bed sheets as a Christmas gift and wanted to exchange them for a different pattern of sheets of the same price/material. However, even though I had the receipt with me, they said the only two options I had were to send a refund to the card that purchased the sheets (it was a gift so I did not do this) or take store credit that expires in 30 days, and use this to purchase the new set of sheets. If I took store credit they would only give me $22 for them though and I would have to pay the extra $23 out of pocket, even though I had the literal receipt in my hand for $45. I left and kept the sheets because I'm not giving them an extra $23 for the same set of sheets in a different color. Why should they get paid twice, netting a total of $68 for one set of $45 sheets? I also got a pair of pajamas from here for Christmas and the colors ran out and bled through the fabric the first time I washed them, making them look stained and old. I don't have this receipt though so I don't think I'll even bother to try to exchange them. This reminded me why I never shop here- they make every transaction a struggle.

Good department store. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent selection of products at retail prices. Good sales, though. Like any other Kohls store, though, almost every area of clothing is always blown up like a Black Friday crowd just destroyed it, so finding the right size and style can be very difficult.

When Kohl's has what I want, at a reasonable price (usually on clearance), then it's great. However, many of their clothes are overpriced and it can be very difficult to find what you're looking for. Their saving grace is 'Kohl's cash' - if I have to buy something there, at least I get a coupon I might be able to use the next time. I try to avoid shopping here though, since the prices are typically higher than some of the other clothing stores in the area.
