I was shopping Thursday, December 14. 2017, at Younkers in the Lansing Mall on W. Saginaw St. The store was very busy with a lot of Christmas shoppers and all shoppers were using coupons (there were a lot of Coupons). I waited patiently in a long line in the Men's Department, where the two salesclerks Laurinda and Wendy were very helpful and accommodating to every customer in line. When I finally got my turn, Laurinda treated me as if I was her first customer of the day, as I noticed Wendy treating her customers the same. I so appreciated such respect and help with all the different coupons I had. I admired these two salesclerks cool heads. The line actually slowed down after me and Laurinda offered to go upstairs (stock dept.) in search of gift boxes, returning with boxes. I so appreciated the service I received. Thank you Younkers for having such good employees. Sharlene

The shoe department at the lansing mall store is horribly staffed. One person that was a customer service cashier for several departments. After waiting 15 minutes for her to finish at the cash register and then get shoes for 4 other customers. The sizes were wrong and i was not about to wait another 1\2 hour to try on shoes. I went to JC Penney and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Come on Younkers get with the program and hire some staff.
