Kohl's department store the day after Thanksgiving has been a tradition in my household for many years now. There are lots of lines but lots of good sales to be had as well. With Kohl's cash, even with the discounts you still get additional money back. The problem with Kohls is that you have to be aware of what the actual price that people pay for the products is. In other words sometimes Kohls has a really heavy discount but the starting price is very high. An educated consumer will know if the deal is really good or if it's just an ordinary price even if they say it's deeply discounted. The Poughkeepsie store is actually pretty big and there are lots of checkout lines.

Plenty of deals can be found at this store. However, my complaint is the shoe department which rarely carries your shoe size if you find a style you like. One might find several options, locating the perfect shoe or sneaker on the display. Look under it, and only rare sizes exist. I have tried many different times to find shoes there, and have had to settle each time, as they simply didn't have common sizes. Also, lines take way too long. Easy returns, though you have to walk long distances to get to the return desk, which is not convenient for those on the run.

Only 25 minutes on line on Black Friday. Not bad at all. Great deals too.
