I think I've found my new favorite restaurant. I'm always game for fusion restaurants, and on top of the inventive and creative dishes that they rotate every so often, I know that KK also uses foods that are fresh and in season. You can definitely notice this in every bite. I was blown away with the different textures, flavors, and details in each dish. We asked for our meals to go, but they told us if we ever decide to "dine-in," they would serve it out in courses. While waiting, they gave us free little dishes with their tomato salad, which was delicious. They also have box gardens outside of the restaurant and recycling and composting bins. I should note, for folks who are looking for a place to dine in, this place does not offer that, so pick a nice day to go here! I think the friendly service, the fresh and quality meals, and the artful execution makes up for the lack of having a roof over your head while eating ;)

We had a most amazing experience with this restaurant even though we never purchased any food from them. On my son's birthday we were searching for a good place to eat then we found Kounter Kulture on the web. Impressed with the great reviews and the nice phone conversation with someone in the restaurant, we decided to drive 20 minutes to go there. Upon arrival, however, we were surprised to find out that it is takeout only and there was no place to sit in. There were some small tables and chairs outside but it was upper 80s and we really wanted to sit and eat. So we left in disappointment. But before I started my car a young lady, seemingly a waitress at the restatement, approached us and asked us to wait. She gave each of us a cup of an appetizer drink and said they were sorry that they forgot to tell us they are take out only and that we had to drive 20 minutes to figured that out. She said they would make some food for us to take away. She also gave some candies to my son. We were in disbelief of course, but sure enough in less than ten minutes she brought back several dishes, inviting us to try on our way to find another sit- in restaurant. Still shocked, we struggled to search for some cash to just thank the nice lady, but she already left. Driving back, enjoying their amazing tasty food, we were moved by their kindness, generosity, and hospitality. We were never treated like that before, anywhere in the world. They made our day! We can't wait to go back and we recommend Kounter Kulture to everyone, for their inventive beautiful food, and for the kindness and respect you will receive there!

Amazing service, the best food I have had in a while and possibly the freshed food I have ever had. The staff was amazing and saw that I had just moved into the neighborhood, so they gave me free sample on the side. Green everything, even their plates and silverware were biodegradable. Love you guys, will be coming back again~

Dropped in on a whim and picked up the Korean Chicken rice bowl. It had locally grown heirloom tomatoes mixed in and was great. Friendly people who are happy to go through the menu and answer questions. Plus you get a sample of something while you wait, today it was yummy smoked salmon fried rice. They also carry a line of locally made ice cream in a variety of herbal flavors, a bit pricey but definitely worth a try. I'll be going back again to try more of their menu.

This place is unbelievable. They literally just want you to have the best dining experience possible and bring fresh local Asian food to your palate. The staff is as wonderful as the food!
