I didn’t try their ice cream, I got milkshake instead, and I was very disappointed. It was a simple flavored cold milk and the size was too small for an 8 dollar shake. I highly recommend avoiding their milkshake.Food: 3/5

This is my first time in New York and I was very disappointed in the staff and the gelato. I tried the mascarpone and cheesecake. They were both terrible and I asked to try the strawberry, but this worker told me I was only allowed to try two flavors AFTER I had already tried them. They need to inform customers they can only try two flavors BEFORE letting them try something. I tried to give her the spoons and she told me “NO you need to go to the trash can” very rudely. I did not buy anything because of her terrible service and the taste of the gelato sample. I will not come here again.

Had to come back three times because their banana flavour is insanely tasty. And the cone is also delicious. Will come back someday whenever I visit NYC!Food: 5/5

Conveniently located in the corner of the first floor of Chelsea Market so if the line gets long, it won’t be in the way of walking traffic. Large selection of gelato and sorbet flavors. Wish they gave you more than they do especially at their price. The gentleman who helped me even purposely made the dome of my gelato smaller than the scoop, but I think they are trained to do that….I ordered the pistachio which had a faint/mild flavor. Texture is like a soft serve and was very good. On a good day, the staff are fast and efficient so you barely have to wait long unless the line is huge! Great treat at the market

Love the Chelsea market especially this cute gelato shop! So many delicious flavors to pick from and the service was great!!! Will definitely be coming here again! Must go to shop if you’re in Chelsea!

Gelato has rich flavor and creamy. I ate olive oil and lemon. olive oil is quite good than my expectation and lemon is so nice.Food: 4/5

I paid $7.25 for the classic cone and was given rather small scoops making for overpriced ice cream. The pistachio and tiramisu both had a nice soft texture and weren’t too sweet. I liked the pistachio flavor better. The cone was thicker than a normal one and mine was possibly stale because I didn’t like it very much. There are a few tables and chairs around where you can enjoy your gelato.

L'Arte del Gelato is a classic gelato shop located in the Chelsea Market. They have a large selection of flavours.  The gelato had a very smooth texture and tasted good, the strawberry flavour really popped.

Great gelato and affogato in Chelsea Market! Chocolate with raspberry gelato was very nice, ricotta with fig was unique, though a little light on caramelized fig, and pistachio was the best, very rich pistachio flavor.Food: 5/5
