Coming from Texas, Tex-Mex is a must! La Botana is near our home and fits the bill. They offer all the basics, combo plates, good appetizers, drinks and more. Recently on a visit, I wanted something lighter since I'd had a late lunch. So I tried the chicken soup - excellent!

I arrived to a completely full parking lot on a Friday at 12:45, peak time, alone, and was seated in seconds. The service was fast and on the ball but patient and friendly, despite a packed house. Service only got better as time went on. The food speaks for itself-- if you lack a local tex-mex, look no further.

An unassuming restaurant that really surprised me, despite being around the congested perimeter area the lunch service was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. The amazing food was icing on the cake. Super affordable lunch specials with generous servings.
