I’m pretty sure that half of DC comes here for coffee on Saturday mornings just so that the other half of DC can see them here! In other words, it’s always busy but for good reason. Great coffee, friendly service and delicious baked goods. They strategically place the cabinet of savoury and sweets in front of the area where you queue so you’ll definitely walk out with more than what you came here for.

Fantastic coffee, really nice atmosphere. Cozy in the winter. Airy in the summer. If you like coffee and are in D.C., this is your place!

Great local coffee shop; no frills, just great coffee. There are no flavored syrups if you're a Starbucks drinker, but it you like French presses, this is your place. A great hidden spot if you're at the convention center, but it stays busy.

This continues to be one of our favorite La colombe locations. Always friendly and helpful staff, killer coffee and tasty pastries. This morning my husband and I played hooky from work in order to get some cappuccinos and the almond chocolate croissant. We noticed that they don't have Wi-Fi. However that doesn't seem to deter people from parking their engrossed in great conversation.

We came as a group of 7 after hearing great reviews about this place. We arrived around 5:30 and a member of our party ordered a hot tea. We were told that they were about to close, the baristas had an obvious attitude, mentioning they would have to reclean the equipment because they shut down half the coffee shop. The tea wasn't bad, but the baristas weren't very friendly.
