This was a very solid experience. Wasn't terribly busy when we stopped in, but we also must have hit it between shifts as it took a good hour long to get through 5 dishes. The bread service is immaculate. All the food we had was mostly delicious though some of the items had little taste. We got two dips and both were lackluster compared to plain olive oil. The labneh was some of the best I've ever had.

This restaurant is amazing. The Lebanese/middle Eastern food is wide- ranging and excellent. So many different dishes to choose from. The staff is super professional and knowledgeable. The restaurant has beautiful interiors but be aware that it's quite loud. A must if you're visiting DC and want to try one of its best restaurants.

We ordered the tasting menu for 2 and wished we'd brought a few friends to share the delicious bounty! You'll want to pace yourself and plan on taking some home... We had 14 creative, delicious plates that covered a wide range of Mediterranean delights and fulfilled that authentic sense of overabundance and hospitality. Favorites included the halloumi with citrus, the red pepper and feta spread, the lamb and hummus, and the flat bread with egg and sausage, but it was all so good we ate almost to bursting.

Good food, but small plates so be warned that you'll need to order plenty. Very nice wine and good wait staff. But ordering small plates for a larger group can get tedious very fast since they don't have any suggested pairings to simplify the process. I cut a star because although the food was nice, we found that we loved about half the dishes while only satisfied with the others.

Fantastic meal. Really creative interpretations of classics Arabic (shami) and Mediterranean dishes. We went for the tasting menu options which provided a large number of dishes with great variety. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would recommend to anybody who is interested in middle eastern food done in a slightly modern way.
