Been going for a few months, I noticed they put up security cameras and warning signs outside. I have never been a victim of a car break in Thank God! The staff is nice, locker room is always clean the cleaning lady I always see her in there and around cleaning equipment. The sauna is small but I'm still able to get in. The equipment is convenient and the juice bar is great to have. I did a few spin classes and the instructors Donald, Miss Linda are the best! Over all good place to workout! Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Clean. Friendly staff. Awesome classes even though they seem to be cancelled every now and then (minus a star). Never have a problem getting a machine. The men are respectful.  There's a smoothie bar.

I was a member at la fitness on Lavista Rd. When I moved it took a minute for me to join the gym on panola because when I visited the pool appeared to be dirty and the sauna was out of service which is the only reason I choose them over planet fitness. I eventually join and my second day of coming I was not greeted upon entering even though the MANAGER EMILY Or "M" was standing there doing nothing while an employee was helping another guest. I walked up to her and stated that I didn't receive my new card holding my old card up so she could see it. She rudely looks at me crazy and says I don't know what you mean card. I said you don't know what a card is? By this time the employee was done helping the other guest and I just started talking to him to avoid the ignorance. He was pleasantly helping me and asked for "the number" I said which number he said your phone number. While I'm saying my phone number she loudly interrupts "PHONE NUMBER PHONE NUMBER YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS?!?" I guess this was her retaliation to me disturbing her doing nothing. In complete disbelief I look at her and said he didn't say phone number though. She then admits I was just mocking you! I then asked her "Is that professional? You are at work. Is this how you act at work?" She kept trying to go back and forth being so loud and ghetto the EMPLOYEE HAD TO ASK HER TO CHILL OUT!!! AND SHE IS THE MANAGER!!!! Unprofessional loud and ghetto behavior is the last thing this gym needs to greet their guest with. It's already dirty then the MANAGER has the nerve to be rude! I have talked to her manager IRITA EDWARDS she told me the lies that had been sent to her in an email by EMILY and then I was told by a friend that they are all friends so it needs to be escalated to corporate. I will not stop until I feel the issue is resolved. I feel that because this gym is in an area full of minorities the last thing they need are GHETTO LAZY LYING UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT.

My review is based off the facility as a whole.  I tried this gym for the first time last night.  I heard it is normally crowded but it wasn't bad at all.  Parking was plentiful.  Location is easy to find.  Gym was clean and spacious.  Staff was friendly.  Went to the smoothie bar and the cashier was very nice and engaging.  I didn't catch her name.  I went for a Zumba class.  I have done Zumba on and off for several years.  I was disappointed with this particular class.  There are several instructors there so I can only speak for the class I attended.  The instructor didn't teach the dance moves as all other Zumba instructors do.  The class was filled with regulars and it seemed as though it was catered toward them.  She didn't really demonstrate what was to be done.  The regulars seem to love and enjoy her though.  She had great energy and a very enthusiastic spirit. I will say that it was definitely a great workout.  The instructor started off with lots of squats and cardio work.  My body was aching before I even left.  That is the kind of workout that I enjoy.

Nice gym. Friendly staff. Some of the equipment needs updating now... the TV on the treadmill wasn't working and there is a very worn look to everything.
