La Placita Latina Supermarket

I drive by this store on 192 in Kissimmee all the time and decided to stop today. I WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! This store is very clean and neat. The floor plan layout is logical and well thought out. They carry lots of meats, fruits and vegetables, both fresh and frozen, fish, dairy and all the rest in small quantities. They also have a hot bar of assorted prepared meals. In addition, to my great surprise, the prices are very good. I'm looking forward to stopping by this store again and again.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after they close will blast their music until 4:30-5am. We have asked them nicely to lower the music and we get cussed out. People in the community have to work on Monday morning, have families, and trying to get a good nights rest. They even will do this during the week. I live a few blocks away and seem the music is only a few feet from me since the use club style speakers. I feel bad for the people that live right near them. The ones doing this I bet don't live near the supermarket so have no respect for the neighborhood and I don't think they would appreciate if someone was doing this right outside their homes. I understand having a good time but until 4:30-5am is a bit much. LOWER THE MUSIC PLEAE FOR GOD SAKES.

I was looking for spanish sweet bread Pan Sobao I was close to this location so I stopped by to get the bread. I purchased the bread and some coffee. The bread was old at least one day Overall: the cashier was not friendly with me. She saw me grab the bread by the registers, and she didn't tell me that the bread was old. I discarded the bread at home after trying a piece. First time visiting and last time.

They have a very small selection of groceries but they always have what I need to make a quick dinner when I'm in a pinch. Their meat is always fresh and the produce prices are great. Mostly it's the staff that makes La Placita a great place to shop. Paola is wonderful and always makes my little boy so happy

If your trying to get some good rice meal this is not the place rice is hard

Horrible neighbors. It is 3:30 am and this store has been blasting music so loud that my children can't sleep 5 blocks away in the residential neighborhood across Vine St. I will be boycotting this place from now on.

great supermarket, reminds me of J&J, organized and clean

i have been having la plácita hot food for about 3 years now and i’ve NEVER had issues always so good. until today. the picture attached says it all. a massive roach inside my food. and NO it didn’t crawl in my food while i wasn’t looking at home. as you can tell alot of my food was not eaten. i will never be going back to la placita and i do hope this post gets shown to everyone because this is very unsanitary and DISGUSTING

I went to LA supermarket to pick up a few items they have hot food inside the produce looks very good and the spices are picked up me a large container of garlic powder they also have a meat section in the back and they have a butcher to cut different kind of meat what you want to purchase and also if you want to get tested for Corona virus they have hay tent outside is free I would suggest if you haven't been tested go get tested thank you and you have a great wonderful day.

Decided to try their hot food and I was very disappointed. The only thing that was fresh was their fried cheese. The salami was old and burnt this was at 930 a.m. the tostones were not cooked right and they were soggy. I got the mangu for my wife and it tasted like they poured vinegar over it. They only have one size portion. I will never eat here again and I will not recommend this to anyone. Such a shame, this is such an iconic place in Kissimmee. I recommend Sabor del Caribe. Food is fresher and the prices are better.
