The room was decent. Slight smell of smoke masked with air fresheners. The TV is small and the remote does not work. The room was visually clean. The service is very good (depending on the shift). The location is central to Port Lavaca and next to the Walmart (which is nice).

Clean Rooms. Excellent Service. I even met the owner during her inspection, and she went above and beyond to make sure our entire wedding party was happy.

PROS: Quiet rooms, quick check in and out, hot breakfast worth staying for. Near lots of fast food. CONS: Cell reception is very poor, if staying near the ends of the hotel (ex. X01, 02, 03, 04 ect.) Internet poor connection.

Looks like it's been recently refurbished. Very clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff

This is your typical 2-3 star chain hotel. They have basic amenities. Small but clean pool, small gym. Our room is facing a somewhat noisy compressed gas facility. La Quinta is known for being "pet friendly" translation, you will have to deal with the room across dog barking. -1 star for the crappy un-secure wifi. Also tiny 32" TVs. Get with the times, modern wifi and get at least 40" tvs. However the staff is very friendly and professional, they offer a good discount for military.
