I normally stay at the bossier location. I switched it up this time because I used my points so I stayed at the newer hotel.  It is located right across from the airport. But it’s kind of on the outskirts of town. I preferred that aspect because I rather that than the mid city. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Printers worked in biz center.  there is a nice looking hot tub and pool.  Breakfast was average of free breakfasts.

Stayed one night with family of 5 (3 small kids) and two dogs, 8-May-18.  Satisfactory & convenient last-minute visit, with no deal breakers to prevent future visit. Staff was quite pleasant and competent. Wish that a slightly larger suite was available for guests with pets (we had 2 full beds); fitting the family & pups was doable but not easy. Floor left feet black, and there were some residual pet odors in the room. Not all of the other guests had picked up after their pets outside. Renovations were not 100% complete in our room and not all of top quality, but this is just aesthetics and didn't bother us.  We did not try the pool, breakfast or other amenities; can't rate those.

This corporate inn is very nice in every way.  I have stayed here several times when passing through Shreveport and over the years have enjoyed a recent remodel of the pet friendly rooms to the ground floor.  The rear building access is a plus when traveling with your animal companions.

3/18/2018 stay, check in 7pm for one night.  Greeted by 1 friendly front desk staff.  Hotel grounds were clean from dog piles.  Room was not clean, floors turned out feet black, blood spots on the bed sheets and comforter.  Housekeeping was cleaning late into the evening, they clearly have staffing issues.  Also, the hotel appears to have been renovated, but the renovation, at least in the bathroom was sub-par.  We felt fairly safe at this hotel and the surrounding area.

As always, Great place to stay while traveling or even if your not traveling and just want to get away. Plus as I have said before and will always say, the staff are always very friendly and make you feel like you are part of the family and are willing to do whatever it takes to make you feel welcomed and safe. Thank you La Quinta for all that y'all do.  LeasaMelton
