LaFave Gallery is located in Springdale, Utah. Surrounded by soaring red sandstone cliffs, we are just minutes from Zion National Park.

Story

LaFave Gallery was built and established in 2012 and represents an eclectic and talented group of regional artists who capture the landscape and spirit of the high desert country in a variety of mediums. Zion Canyon designer, Stephen Roth designed the exquisite Arts and Crafts-inspired gallery space that showcases the art in a beautiful, airy, and light-filled setting. A work of art itself, the building's design and materials echo and compliment the magnificent cliffs that surrounds the gallery. We look forward to your visit and invite you to view our collection.

They have a nice selection of different art mediums and the way that the art is displayed is top notch. Lots of natural light. Kathy, the owner, is really nice and great about answering questions.

**I visited the gallery but I specifically want to review their new "suites at LaFave Gallery." Gallery: beautiful art work, great, knowledgeable customer service. Incredible art pieces, especially the photography - blew us away! I also loved the wind sculptures in front of the place - beautiful and makes the gallery easy to find! Suites: absolutely beautiful suite, you can tell the owner took a lot of time and effort into the design, and it's very well taken care of. There are full sets of dishes (which incidentally are also beautiful) in the kitchen with a dishwasher and all your other kitchen essentials; full, very efficient (and quiet!!) Full set of washer and drier, and they provided laundry soap which is nice; VERY comfortable king size bed; great big smart TVs; pretty cool room temperature control in each room; incredible shower, although smaller sink in the bathroom; the downstairs suite even had a little herb garden you could pull off of to cook with! The location was also very convenient: easy to find, right next to a couple restaurants, and right in front of a shuttle stop to Zion. They also had one reserved parking spot for us staying at the suite. Really one of the best places I've ever stayed. Highly recommend and we will be certainly coming back!

Traveling through a few years back, we stopped by & picked up a painting and a couple of ceramic pieces. The painting was an encaustic painting of a landscape we grew to enjoy even more over time. I periodically checked their web site and saw another, emailed an inquiring and they were very responsive. Kathy told me it was beautiful & even more vibrant than pictures show. Not one to buy art sight unseen, we made the 7 hour drive to see it in person, and she was right... it was stunningly beautiful. We bought a second piece while we were there, turned around, and drove the 7 hours home. The painting lights up our room. Springdale has a few nice unpretentious art galleries. There is another in town we bought a couple of neat little things for around the house, but LaFave is by far my favorite. There is a nice mix of different art mediums that are good values. This, coming from a guy still works hard for his money and doesn't part with it lightly. Kathy helped us both times we were there. It's not a large gallery, and very comfortable to walk through to enjoy and spend a little time. Anyone reading this ought to make time if they're going through town. There's some pretty cool stuff there.

Beautiful artwork, nice gallery space, but unfortunately very rude and impatient staff. Just be aware that you will be rushed out of the gallery if you don't look like you are going to make an immediate purchase.
