It was amazingly beautiful to camp there. It wasn't so crowded that you needed a reservation, but busy enough that you felt safe sleeping there. It was a little hard to sleep with the highway sounds in the distance, and the swimming area was incredibly rocky, but the shower I had there was the best shower of life. I would travel the 17 hours just to have that shower again. Bravo.

Nice, but small beach to enjoy Lake Erie. The beach is rocky and has really pretty black stones. There are two main walking areas on site that are okay. The paths are just mowed grass and aren't really marked well, so we couldn't really figure out whether we were still on a path at one point and just ended up turning around. I wish there were better views of the lake from the paths. Bathrooms aren't fancy, but they had running water and soap which was more than I expected when hiking.

Very clean, plenty washrooms around. The camping areas are very level and easy to access. The beach needs alot of work, the shore is all rock and all the sand is in the water. For the most part the playgrounds are kept up. Some parts are showing ware with one slide cracked causing a hazard.

A drive thru here brought me to the birch tree I posted, at the exit of the pkg lot by the beach. The bark is in a pattern intricately covering the trunk and branches. The leaves are full and dark green. It is alive, beautiful, and nice to see.

Very family friendly... No beach to speak of. Basically an area of rocks next to the lake. A disc golf course runs through the park, right up to the water access area and near the campsites. My friend and I got stink bombed by some juveniles around midnight on Friday evening. Damn hooligans... The staff was mostly teenagers. Had two good experiences, 2 where they were just rude. You're able to buy bundles of fire wood and ice from the check in cabin. However, when my friend went to buy ice Saturday evening they had run out. She was not informed of when they might have more ice. The place seemed well maintained and it was nice to be able to hear the waves breaking against the shore. The sun sets over the water, and there are different areas along the bluffs where you can sit and look out over the lake. Some goid, some bad. Wasn't my favorite, but it also wasn't bad for a weekend away.
