Story

Pull into KOA and walk right into the heart of grape country. Enjoy the pine- and oak-covered trails of Ottaway Park. Sunsets are magical over Lake Erie, only 300 yards from the campground. A shale-bottom creek, fun for hiking, flows through KOA. Hook bass and perch from the pond, then let them go. (For the real keepers, get on an Erie charter or fish off the large pier near a boat launch.) KOA boasts two pools, a game room and an award-winning playground. Fun summer weekends include water balloon tosses, Big Foot and sack races, treasure hunts and more. For a spectacular view of Lake Erie, vineyards and a hint of Canada, go 5 miles to Luensman Overview Park. Visit antique shops, wineries and Erie's Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park or go geocaching.

Stayed here twice on a recent road tour with a band I play in. Great place to stay. Very clean. Friendly staff. Campsite was plenty large enough for our band's 35 foot bus with equipment trailer in tow (51 feet together). Very nice park across the street with a great view of Lake Erie.

Beautifully maintained campground and our tent site is shady, level grass...the one "catch..." it's right next to a highway! The traffic noise is continuous. I suppose if you're in a camper you wouldn't notice it as much. Bathrooms are dated, but relatively clean. Nice outdoor sink to wash dishes. Playground is AWESOME according to our daughters ages 4 and 6. Didn't use the pool, but looks nice.

Nice people. Easy in n out. 2 swimming pools. pet friendly, roomie lots. quiet, pond to fish. Only thing bad is when people don't go 5m, they kick up the dust from road, right in your camper. Good place to kick up your heels and relax.

Over all passible RV park. Services good, tho some of the sites are not level and boards needed to level rig. The young man who parked us was able to change our site, so we didn't have to unhook our car. Some of the pull through sites are short. The price is high for what you get, but we are in NY.

From the young man who checked us in to the gentleman who guided us to our site, the experience and campground we're "outstanding". We will definitely do KOA whenever possible. Thank for taking such pride in the grounds, it was wonderful.
