Came in with my 80 year old father who had strange new painful symptoms the night before. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the doctor was spot on and we ended up much relieved. My only issue is that we had to press to find out test results were normal, after being there for hours and one blood sample being hemolyzed, hence needing to be repeated. I had planned to go visit family elsewhere in MO that morning, since it was Christmas. The results were there, Dad was fine, and he was upset to delay my plans more than he was about his worries. Everyone was super nice and treated Dad great. Assessment and treatment topnotch. Only complaint-when ruling out serious problems is your game plan, be on the lookout for the results more quickly, someone is nervously awaiting the verdict.

I said to myself, Steph, don't write a scathing review, and yet here I am awake at five am from stomach pain that the ER first tried to claim was period related. Rewind to the fact that I had to wait around for two or three hours in a waiting room to get a room because "all the rooms are full," now, I might not have been so aggravated if I didn't know how big the hospital was and if this was my first time dealing with bs from this hospital, but throughout my very sickly young adulthood, I've dealt with it more than I'd care to say, and I've never walked away from it thinking my experience was a good one. Anyway, I finally get a room, I tell them there's blood in my stool and pain in my abdomen and after a very unpleasant test they start to claim that I might just be "confused" and a young woman who has had her period since she's 13 couldn't tell when she was on it. The doc pushes around on my abdomen, jabs over my ovaries and is then trying to play it off that it's unusual that it hurts when a grown man jabs with a good amount of pressure over my uterus. After blood test and a CT they couldn't find what was wrong and sent me on my way despite my pain. I'm pretty sure he was still convinced it was my period which is horrifying for his future female patients. I could be having a heart attack, but next time I'm driving the 50 minutes to Jeff. Now I have a ridiculous bill, whatever ailments I had to begin with, and a good amount of anger. Next time, Jeff City, I suggest you do the same.

Went last Monday after dislocating my finger to see if there were any fractures. I was told there wasn't and had two different nurses telling me two different stories. Went to the doctor today and turns out my finger actually has a fracture.
