Decent state campground in a part of the country where finding camping of any sort is a challenge. No dogs allowed (for better or for worse). The camp sites are right on top of each other - "field style."  All that said, this location provides excellent access to the New Preston, CT area, which is truly something special.  Your enjoyment of this campground will largely depend on what style of camping you prefer.

This was our first time camping. We love every moment. The facilities were cleaned everyday it was an amazing experience.

Great place to Camp! No cell service which can be good and bad.

Picturesque and clean. Quiet little spot in the NW corner. Great for a summer day when the beach is too crowded.

Very good camping spot all around. My family has been going to this spot now for 13 years. and never a complaint. Very clean, all around. Bathrooms are cleaned twice a day.  The lake is the best part! and biking around the lake was always a fun thing.
