This a beautiful place to stay.  They even let RV's park here.  Be forewarned though.  There are NO hookups.  it is all dry camping.  There is one trail that circles the campground and goes by the lake.  
There are kayak rentals, canoe rentals,  paddle boats, and other rentals.  
Swimming is allowed in a designated area.

TURN AROUND!! Unless you're into a strict list of rules and no fun when you go camping. Got woken up at 6:45 to make sure my harmless sleeping dog was on leash and since she wasn't got harassed and surveillanced all weekend by the attendants.

Great easy access campsite right next to the lake. Fairly clean bathrooms as far as campsite bathrooms go. It was a great place to camp for our young kids.

I absolutely love this place. The views are awesome. The area set me at ease. It's clean, safe, and just perfect for a short get away.

Wish I could give it zero stars. U have to pay  $5 to get into the swimming area and can ONLY swim there. If u swim anywhere else you WILL be ran off. I will NEVER go back to lake weddington, to fish OR swim. Sad part is, it's 7 minutes from my house but screw that place. No pets, no alcohol on top of all the other issues with this crappy ran lake.
