Food is absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend this place if your in Alexandria. The service is great and the food is even better! I had lobster bisque it was flavorful and creamy! The salmon was cooked perfectly !it was amazing! I ordered cheesecake for dessert it was creamy and cooked perfectly!as well!! 5 stars!! It is pricey but well worth it !

Great food but the menu pricing is a little wild. The difference between the pastas and a meat-based entrees are nearly double which is a little ridiculous. You can go two doors down to IL Porto and get food just as good for significantly cheaper. The atmosphere is amazing here, very beautiful. The service is also very hit or miss. I’ve dined here numerous times and I’ve had wonderful service but also had some horrible service. They are also very pushy to buy wine. This past week our server was asking us “which bottle of wine we wanted” literally before our coats were even off (dead serious). I sternly informed him that we hadn’t even sat down or received our menus yet and he came back to the table with menus a moment later and literally stood at the table and asked a second time which wine we wanted to order. Very unprofessional. I’ll be back but there are better options in the area.

Possibly the best restaurant in all of Alexandria. I have NEVER had a bad meal there and have been eating there for 20 years. Best staff who make your meal special. Also great private dining rooms for a special event or rehearsal dinner.

The food is always really good every time we go. We pretty much always get the filet and its always delicious and perfectly cooked and the complementary bread and butter are amazing. But the service is always really bad. We've gone multiple times at the busiest times and at the slowest times, and it never changes. They are usually rude, take forever to take our orders and then kind of disappear until its time to take our check. Despite the bad service, we will continue to go here repeatedly because the food is that good.
