I adored the Korean pork burger and the fries. Decent location, nice interior, and we left with leftovers. I told myself I would eat healthy and then I went ahead and devoured this anyway.

Great meaty sandwiches. The tuna sandwich was surprisingly excellent, best tuna sandwich I've had in Portland. 4 stars because my pork shoulder sandwich was lacking much of the pork and they burned the meat (when reheating on griddle?), but it is usually excellent. I've had much better sandwiches/fries at the SE Hawthorne location. For some reason, the quality is more consistent there.

We read a lot of great reviews of this particular restaurant in Portland. I was particularly interested in some not so basic french fries. The first time I went I ordered Lardo fries and they were spectacular. I loved the taste and texture of them and the whole experience was quite delightful. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately the second time the fries weren't the same. One thing I look for with food is consistency and the Lardo fries the second time did not match the first time. Hopefully this isn't a reoccurring theme.

First time. Waiting time for the order took longer than expected (20 minutes) on not a busy day. Some of the sandwiches are not super special, but it is still definitely a good place to eat. Nice seating and big windows to people watch.

I had the Porchetta sandwich and the Lardo fries. The food was pretty good, though overpriced for what it was. I guess was just expecting a more exciting sandwich for $12, and after reading all the reviews. The bread the sandwich was on was delicious. The fries were great, perfectly cooked, and I loved the fresh herbs fried with the fries. I normally don't review things, but about 40 minutes after eating, I started feeling sick to my stomach. As delicious as the fries were, I probably won't be back, $19 plus a tip is just too much for an okay sandwich, fries, and a soda.
