I've been here too many times, to say my farewells to lots of family and friends. Each time I came here, they treated us, with the upmost respect, courteous, and hospitality. Very nice place to say your farewells. Thank you so much.

From the time that I called to the finalizing of my cousins funeral I had EXCELLENT customer service. Tiffany and the staff of the funeral home have been very accommodating and understanding! They had little turn around time to prepare my cousins body and he looked AMAZING!!

This Funeral Home had the body of our brother James Humphrey. We needed a statement that they have his body and the date the services were being held in order for my baby brother Donald Humphrey to get his paycheck to attend the funeral and the only thing they would do is offer him a letter after it was all over. Or call his place of employment which would not accept a verbal from the funeral home...That sucks!!! There should be a better plan and considerations for families that are already dealing with the stress of loosing their loved one. We're very disappointed.

They were very helpful & caring. It was my first time having to deal with death. Everything was done beautifully for my mom's service @ the church & burial the next day. It's been years but I had to say thank u via this post.     Claudine Faison

To the Staff at Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home, Inc: I am writing to wish all of you a very healthy and prosperous 2015. I also want to thank you for the superior services that you provide to families and the community at large. It is always my pleasure to recommend friends, family and clients to you because I know you will always take good care of them. I also know that when I refer people to you that your patience, which a lot of them need during the difficult time of death and grieving, and your funeral service expertise, will always prevail. I recently spoke one of my aunts who attended a funeral service performed last week at your lovely establishment. She was very happy with your professionalism. She told me that she had recently seen the decedent while he was in  the hospital and was amazed at how "good" he looked at his Homegoing. She stated "He looked like the man that I knew, not someone who had just died from a long fight with cancer". 

Keep up the Good Work and thank you so much!!!
