What a delicious place to visit for dinner! The portion size was perfect. The clam chowder was the most delicious I have ever had. We loved the shrimp risotto cakes as an appetizer. They were served with a delicious side of tarter like sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly. We have never been before and we can't wait to go back. You will love the food and the atmosphere.

First time at Legal Seafood and definitely won't be the last.  Had a reservation for 7:00 pm and had to wait for about 10 minutes and that was the only negative and that's because people don't want to leave, and they don't hurry you out.  Saw quite a few patrons who were there before us and were still there when we left. That's a little thing I appreciate tremendously as I've been places where they want to keep the tables moving to make the money. At Legal Seafood they are definitely about quality of food as well as quality of service. When we arrived and checked in with the hostess at the front desk I was personally greeted by a former student from high school and had a brief stroll down memory lane. We were seated shortly  and barely had time to sit down and look at the drink list when we were greeted by Leslie, our server. She was amazing,  quick and checked in frequently to see if we needed anything and to make sure we were good.  We split the shrimp wontons with seaweed salad as an appetizer and our entrees: swordfish with red onion jam and an order of grilled scallops were fresh, cooked perfectly and portions were humongous. I was worried when I saw "market price" for both entrees,  but was pleasantly surprised at the prices listed on the bill.  Had to try a desert, which we split. Had a nice selection of wines, which Leslie was able to recommend and comment on to pair with our meal. Completely great experience in all areas  and a tremendous thank you to Leslie for making it a memorable and fun evening.

Really nice place good for anniversaries birthdays or just that special occasion you want to get away. If you're into raw shellfish I recommend the clams on a half shell I am had these all over nowhere near as good as this place. Perfect way to start your meal. Not exactly a cheap place to eat, but I would recommend is if you really like seafood. Cook is excellent and the service could not be better. They really know what they're doing there but she feel. I have never been brushed I felt like they needed the table. One time the party I was with stayed as long as two and a half hours. The waitress was more and then excellent. I would definitely recommend this place I'm going to go back there many many more times

It sucked. The place was abandoned at 7 pm on a Friday night. The sprite tasted horrible - they obviously don’t use filtered water when making sprite. So sprite tasted like dirty sink, and it was way too diluted as well. The seafood soup( crab bisque) was gross - too buttery and just not good. Whole Foods makes a similar soup and Whole Foods does a much better job. The crab cakes were too pricy for the portion size - very tiny. The waiter was abrupt, unfriendly and looked at as as if we were two exotic cockroaches.

It's rare to say there's something bad with Legal Seafood this place always has a great selection and one of the best clam chowders around
