Honestly I think this place is overrated.  Many folks say it is the best steak place.  The food is very good and so is the service.  But I think it is overpriced for what you get.  I also think the menu lacks diversity and creativity.  The best steak place in the Philadelphia region remains Barclay Prime for me (and no I don’t work for them, nor am I associated with them).

I was completely disappointed in the food at this restaurant. My husband took me here for our special occasion. I got the NY steak with truffle sauce. The steak was tough and hard to eat. The flavor was decent but I couldn't get past the consistency of my steak.  We had the lobster Mac and cheese and it was okay. I make a better dish so this was horribly disappointing. When spending 190+ dollars on steaks for 2, 1 side, 1 cup of soup and 1 salad. You think the meal would be beyond good. Will never go here again and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The only good things I can tell you about is the service 
 Is spot on and the bread was good.

Updated Feb2018: basically our go to steak place. We love it here and George is the best server. 

Updated Feb2017: came here for an early Valentine meal. Our reservation was for 6:15PM, we arrived at 6:08PM and were seated at 6:30PM. Only mentioning it because 3 other couples who had the same reservation time that arrived AFTER us were seated BEFORE us. Not very good management of seating, in my opinion.  Also, they didn't decorate the table or anything for Valentine-we've been here before and they've decorated it with hearts and petals. 
Despite the wait for a reservation, the meal and server (George) were great. 

Old review: They try and make special occasions feel special. However, if you go here just for an impromptu meal, they don't really pay attention to you. Steaks are good, but I've had better at a more reasonable price.

Excellent! My wife and I had our 10th anniversary dinner here. I made reservations a week prior and told them it was for our anniversary and the team made it a very special evening for us both. The restaurant was packed with people and yet they were very organized and thoughtful right from when you walk in the door and throughout dinner until we left. I don’t believe anything could have been done better by any restaurant. The food and service were again, Excellent!

Unfortunately,  not the Valentine’s Day experience we had hoped for.  Despite reservations and arriving early, we were told that it would be another 20min wait added to our reservation time (in the end we waited 35min extra).  Five single chairs set out in the foyer for the much overbooked night.  So we stood, packed in, between the hostess stand and the door where we could feel the cold air from outside.  Recommend that they either 1. Only book what they can accommodate, 2. Advise you when making the reservation that you will have to stand uncomfortably and wait for an extended period regardless of your reservation.  We’ve been a patron in the past and enjoyed the meal and ambiance but will have to think twice next time due to this poor customer service.  Felt like a night at Applebee’s but with very different pricing.
