Remarkable museum. Though it's focus is on LGBT art and artists, it is a museum for both LGBT and non-LGBT. A favorite NYC museum.

The Leslie-Lohman is an invaluable resource chronicling gay life, history, personalities, artists and art over the centuries. From the closeted artists of centuries past to the most outrageous contemporary talent, the Leslie-Lohman is the repository, the fount of all things art and gay. It embodies both the history and culture of gay people, all under one roof on Wooster St. Do not miss it. There is always some wondrous exhibition under way and there is no other place quite like it.
