Beautiful campground hidden away from the more popular parts of the park. Campground stays open after a lot of the others have closed for the season. Only vaulted toilets. Does have running water and very spacious bear proof food boxes.

The last campground to close for the season. Mammoth stays open year around. No hookups and limited to RVs smaller than 25 feet. No generators allowed.

This campground has lots of trees and shade and is very close to the lake. However, the campsites are quite close together, making for a lot of noise when it's full. Also, during the summer, arrive before 9am to get a site. This campground fills up very early. Pet friendly!

Stayed here while riding my bicycle across the US last summer. The area is just beautiful and the sites were great little nooks carves out of the trees. The camp host tried to give my site away as I was out and about so make sure it looks very occupied after you pay. Would definitely stay here again.

Sites were nice but the water was not running. The tp in the outhouse might as well have been tissue paper.
