Great proximity to the bar Valley and one of the wolf packs. Slightly more exposed than the other small Campground in this end of the park, Pebble Creek.

Smallest campground in park.
arrive before 6am and wait for an opening.
Buffalo have a natural path through the campsite... be careful.
I've had deer, bear and buffalo in my tent sites over the years.
My fav. of all sites. Now for fishing? Leave early and hike UP to 1st meadow. (1 hr). Carry your gear. Wetwade is fine, not that cold.  You can hike upstream for another hr. or so, or head straight to 2nd meadow.  Wouldn't suggest camping alone up there. Big Cutthroats.
Leave by 4:30 to get out before sunset or become bear/wolf bait. 
Not really a site for kids. Mainly hikers here. The long horse and wagon fishing trips to the 3rd meadow come through this campsite every other day as well..
