I stayed here for almost 3 months and would have given it a much higher review, but the end of my stay ruined everything for me. The hotel was under construction the entire time I was there. The first week I had no hot water, and the absolute lack of concern from the manager should have told me to go elsewhere. However, the clerks were great and I am pretty laid back, so I worked with them and eventually got a room where the hot water would "come up" from the unoccupied floors after about 10-20 minutes of running it. The room had been renovated but had many issues- like the toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, ceiling lights being missing in the bathroom. Again, the clerks were great and I was on a long business deal and they gave me a good rate because of the construction, so I stayed. BUT I moved out because I refused to give the owner (and manager) another cent of my money after an incident with the construction crew. I was in my room, before 8 a.m., fresh out of the shower when I heard a weird noise outside the window. I was on the 3rd floor. I looked to the window and there was a man on a scaffold (which had been outside for weeks), working on my window!! I had to bolt to the corner of the room where my state of undress could be hidden. When the worker left, I got dressed and went to speak to the manager. At no time had I been warned that a construction worker would be outside my window, or given a heads up to pull the black out drapes so he couldn't see directly into my room. The manager could have cared less. She told me she had no idea what the construction workers were doing everyday, how could she give me warning? Later in the evening I spoke to the owner- a spineless creature- who said it was my responsibility to pull the drapes. I was on the 3rd floor, I had every expectation of privacy. He also told me he had no control over the construction workers. I asked him how he could operate an occupied hotel and not have a plan for notifying the occupants of any work being done on their rooms, especially early in the morning? He just shrugged and told me it was my fault for not having the black out drapes pulled. Will never, ever go back or visit any other hotel in this chain again.

The room was very nice. However, the entire lobby was under construction. I mean to the point where the only things left were the outside walls. Insulation, dry wall, debris lay all around. We had to wait at least 10 minutes at the front desk before someone would appear and check us in. We had gone out for dinner and when we returned, our room key no longer worked. Every time I rode the single elevator I thought I was going to loose my life. Glad the room was only $75!

Unfortunately I cannot give it zero stars. I had a reservation booked online and needed more info so I called for days with no answer...just to find that they are under construction and do not even have a lobby. I cancelled online a month before my stay since they are under construction and now unable to get a refund and they don't answer the phone. Terrible way right do business by this chain. I will be contacting the BBB for their corporate.

very irritated. i called to confirm my reservation & the girl was kind of rude plus i was told since they can not provide me with a room due to renovations, after being promised one, i have to go through the trouble of canceling my reservations & finding a new hotel. not good business.
