Price was right. Toilet was running every 5 minutes. I was only staying 1 night, so no repairs were made. The noise kept me from getting a restful sleep. This was the last night of a vacation. I stayed in a Motel 6 for 6 of the 9 nights I was gone from home. Drove all the way to eastern PA from Chicagoland area (Wheeling). All in all, I am a big fan & supporter of Motel 6. But, the rooms need to be inspected on a more frequent basis. I work in Property Management so I know whereof I speak.

There was a bad storm the night we arrived at the hotel. The tree next to the building was struck by lightening and was falling down as my friend and I were walking past it. Our key did not work in the side door. We had to run in the front door. The front desk staff were very nice and polite when were were telling her about the tree outside. I liked the location and the room was very nice. I would defiantly staff here again. :)

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The ac in my room didn't cool down at all. I only stayed one night. To be honest one night was all I needed. While walking to my car to go to dinner my daughter n I were verbally assaulted.. We were asked how much for the hour? We didn't reply and were called names very disrespectful dirty names.When we returned we pretty much ran into the hotel doors to get into our room as fast as we could. I've never felt so unsafe in my life. If I didn't already pay for the room and I wasn't on a budget I would have packed up and left.. This was the worst trip I have ever had in a hotel setting. I'm sorry but I will never stay there again.

I made this reservation over 4 months in advance. I had stated and booked a 2 bed handicapped room. These are not available and discriminate against the ADA passed last century.While the people at the front desk gave the proper response "I understand", THEY DON'T! This was a race week and no rooms were available elsewhere. Motel 6 has hardwood floors that other chains do not understand that hardwood is best for cleanliness and crutches and wheelchairs, I like the chain for that reason. But room for a wheel chair is needed and a bathroom that someone in a wheelchair can use, is not available here.

Was expecting more. This hotel being in a better location than some of the ones I have stayed at in Joliet. It was clean and brightly painted. But one of then beds squeaked so bad it woke me up every time I turned over. The people in the next room argued most of the night and you could hear every sound they made. The room across the hall had people going in and out until after midnight and slamming the door every time. Then they moved outside and talked for a couple hours. The room is the smallest I have ever seen, especially for 2 beds. They didn't make up the room on Saturday morning. There was no fridge and not enough towels for 2 people. Yes the room was cheap, but the Hampton next door was only 12 bucks more a night. So we actually skipped our last night and moved over there. Oh and when I gave them my card the first night for what I thought was just a hold, the entire weekend was prepaid. Even though I had put on the reservation I wanted to pay cash. I was not given a receipt that indicated this So if you are looking for cheap its here, but you really do get what you pay for.
