The Libby Museum hosts a collection of natural wonders (animals and artifacts) from New Hampshire as well as around the world.
Located 3 miles north of Wolfeboro town center and overlooking the Lake, the Libby Museum is the oldest natural history museum in New Hampshire. Its collection is local and worldly and includes a life size moose, a varied collection of birds, and "unusuals" from mummy's hands to skeletons and snakes. Free scavenger hunts for kids (with prizes) and a wooded nature trail will delight visitors.
Admission is free for children ages 16 and veterans. $5 for adults.
We're open June 1st until Labor Day; then weekends until Columbus Day.
