Went with my two young adults and my 10 year old child during Christmas break had lots of fun. Touch tunnel is great for child, need to make a walking one for adults, my knees hurt. Lots of activities, with all money paid they need to make sure exhibit and activities are up to date and working! But we had lots of fun the holiday light show was spectacular, loved singing along even though most crowd was just watching, those on the Mike did very well encouraging the crowd to join in singing and clapping! Food is a little pricey but good. Had a very good time! Shouldn't have to pay for parking, just a suggestion!

This place is amazing. My kids absolutely love visiting to check out the new exhibits. We went to check out the new planetarium and it was fantastic. Make sure to check the website so you can give yourself enough time to get tickets for the show you want. Highly recommend.

Current (Dec 2017) Star Trek exhibit is mostly a flop, many of its interactive touchscreen features are broken, and not much substance beyond that. It would be more fun to watch an episode of the TV show. Other exhibits are in better shape. Live animals on display (mostly fish, reptiles, and insects) were an unexpected sight. Planetarium is impressive, although it is basically just an imax theater whose screen wraps onto the ceiling. Solar system movie lasts only about a half hour. Prices are high for what it is. ~$40 for a trip to see a star trek exhibit, some turtles and fish, and a 30 minute planetarium show... Doesn't quite cut it. I'd come back if they changed something, particularly if I had kids and got wealthy.

Great place to bring kids to help develop their interest in science with many interactive exhibits which are sure to stimulate their curiosity. They offer a multitude of engaging activities which will definitely allow your kids to engage themselves mentally. The animal section which has tamarin feedings and a resident large red toucan are great for younger visitors. Adults can enjoy the exhibit on skyscrapers which features a hurricane simulator. Also has an IMAX theater. Must visit attraction if you are in Jersey City.
