My boyfriend and I went here to check out the planetarium and ended up checking out the entire museum. The staff were so nice to us and pleasant and such a clean place. I would recommend going here for a nice quiet date or if you want to take your family to the planetarium. There weren't a lot of people so we were able to really appreciate the museum. We had a great experience and definitely will be back again.

There have been a lot of changes at the Newark Museum lately especially with the mounting of the new galleries. There is a new gallery for African art and one for the Egyptian art and art of the Mediterranean. The new Korean galleries are very interesting as well. Soon the new entrance will be open and there will be a whole new look to the museum.

This is an awesome musewn. Not too many people visit it because is under appreciated. I liked the variety on display and the amazing painting of the masters. They have one of John Singer Sargent that I admired. The staff is very welcoming.
