We stayed here from Aug 5th to Jan 4th. The lake is very beautiful. We really had no problems until colder weather. If you are staying monthly they want you to unhook your water hose and fill up your freshwater tank every night, but don’t tell you that. I woke up in the middle of the night to no water. I woke my husband up afraid we had frozen pipes. Nope. The manager came by and unhooked our water hose without ANY notice. We had to call to figure out what happened. They do not want you leaving the water on at a even a drop in freezing temperatures because it could fill up their septic tank. They take it upon themselves to take care of the matter without any discussion or notice to their renters. We weren’t the only people this happened to. After Christmas, we came back and hooked up our camper and moved to a new RV Park. Manager was not present as she was vacation, totally understandable. Was sent an invoice per email, sent in checks priority to make sure they arrived in a timely manner to cover our expenses. In one email, the manager said I had received mail, if I would send her the address she would forward my one piece of mail to me. I thought that was very nice. Many days had passed, noticed she had deposited our checks, yet I had not received my mail (a birthday card). I called and texted her two or three times with no response back. She generally was very good about texting back within the day. My husband finally got her on the phone. She plain as day said she did send it to the address I sent her via email. I checked the email to make sure I had typed the address in correctly. She lied to us, she did return to sender. No big deal, but why lie????? Also, manager would drive very fast down the road, that could potentially put people at risk who were walking or the children who were at the park. If you are staying short term I would say this is a decent place to stay, however long term during winter months, I’d go somewhere else.

Pretty good pizza and food with dock access. Also has a boat ramp, but I've never used it. We stop here once or twice every lake weekend. Convenient and friendly. Wish they sold gas, though.

Just what a hungry fisherman needs,food plus most anything else you need for your day on the lake, although it's only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday,it's still a nice place, very friendly and very helpful

I been going here for years, love the location it's convenient to where I like to fish. Last few years the ramps are past being run down.this year I have lost 3 led tail lights and a new tire due to the poor ramp conditions. U would thing with ramp fee price increase from 3 to 5 bucks per boat that they could at least put a 7 dollor bag of concrete in the pot hole in the center ramp while the water is down. Last trip I switched ramps to the store side and guess what not just a broke light but a damaged tire I had to replace. This could be a awesome place with some normal expected maintenance.

I had my fifth wheel camper at this park for 4 or 5 years. It's previous owner was nice and we loved it there. When the new owners took over, all kind of promises were made. After a couple of years they finally got cable and limited wi-fi. Our rent went up every year without any improvements. The people who were there the longest amount of time were over looked for spots closer to the water. The spot that we had ,had an excellent view of the lake. A new person moved in front of us and built on outside shower right in front of our deck. Who wants to be setting in your swing and here your neighbor taking a bath. We sold our place and will never go back. Not good business people either. They can't talk to you without being smart about it either. No love lost. We have a motorhome now and travel a lot more. A happy Motorhome owner.
