My boyfriend and I rented from Lincoln Realty for one year and while this year was not the worst one of our lives, it wasn't good. First, I must explain that we lived in a very low-end apartment complex (Lankford Place) because we were trying to save money for a year before moving into a house. The apartment had a terrible odor that we noticed when we first viewed it but we assumed the odor would go away after cleaning and living there; however, it did not. I did everything I could to get rid of the smell; scrubbed the walls, cleaned the carpets, scrubbed baseboards, etc. but the stinch remained for the entire year. This, however, was not the worst part about the apartment. The apartment was infested with small roaches. They lived in the walls. We are very clean people who have never had an issue with bugs before but no matter how much I cleaned, the roaches still seemed to multiply. We had pest control come out multiple times and we even bought several different types of roach killer but nothing would work. Towards the end of our lease, I woke up in the middle of the night with a roach crawling on my face. I didn't sleep through the night again for the rest of our time there. This apartment is not suitable for living. It needs to be professionally roach-bombed and aired out for however long it takes to make sure that the roaches are gone, if it's even possible to rid of them at this point. My boyfriend and I would stand in the kitchen and try to kill them and watch as they went into the walls through tiny holes. We found multiple roaches in our refrigerator with our food. I am scarred for life after living at this place. 

Now, regarding the rental company, we did not have a very good experience with them either. It takes multiple reports of maintenance issues before they will come out and fix anything. There were several times when I had to visit the office in person before they would finally do something. When we were first considering renting from Lincoln Realty, we dealt with Steven Lincoln, who is amazing. He is caring, understanding, and friendly. Unfortunately, there were less than five times during our year that we actually spoke/met with him. I feel that if we would have been able to work with him on all the issues that we experienced, we would not be leaving them such a bad review right now. Instead, we were forced to deal with Parker Lincoln. Parker is an undermining, arrogant douchebag. He talked down to us like we were children (we're only a few years younger than him) and on multiple occasions, treated us as if we couldn't afford the apartment, even though our income was triple the base income for this apartment. If we hadn't have already closed on the lease from our previous apartment, we would have walked out of our lease signing appointment with Parker because of his rudeness towards us. We had dozens of maintenance issues with our apartment and every time I went to the office to speak to someone about them, Parker treated me as if I was wasting his time and a major inconvenience for him. I feel bad for the owners that are using Lincoln Realty because Parker Lincoln is doing them a major disservice. Be careful if you are considering renting from this company.

Friendly, professional, and prompt!  Excellent experience.  I rented from Lincoln Realty for two years-they were some of the first people to welcome me to Valdosta.  They quickly responded to my calls, pressured washed the house every year, and cleared the yard to trees, branches, etc.  If I ever return to Valdosta I will contact Lincoln Realty for my housing

Horrible experience. The owner or whoever is over applications should be fired. I never do reviews like this, but I just had to. I feel like everything is a scam just to get a non refundable application fee. I made quite enough money to cover rent, plus I'm in school so I informed him that I would pay in advance. He belittled me and degraded me making me feel like I am not worthy to be renting anywhere. He had a horrible attitude and is very unfitting. I see now why this realtor has horrible reviews. I regret giving them a chance and I feel sorry for the home owners through this company. They are probably losing out on some well trusted renters.

I had the pleasure of renting a home through Lincoln Realty for 5 years. I appreciate that they were very accommodating whenever something needed to be fixed. Never had to wait days for a repair. Staff is very professional yet they treat you like family. I highly recommend that you give them a call for your rental needs.
