Operating since 1967, the SMNHC serves around 14,000 people a year, primarily 5th grade students, through field ecology programs and public events.
** Please note that the SMNHC and its trails are not open to the public, except for special events and public days**
You can find more information on school and public programs, our facilities, and more at: www.nmnaturalhistory.org/smnhc
