Here is the thing! Someone opened a phony account at the Bridgewaters location of Littman Jewelers. I called to help them catch the theif. You see I received a bill addressed to Carly Thompson at my house who purchased items totaling $5081.42 and opened an account with Littman. Well No-One named Carly Thompson Lives at my house. I can't find a Carly Thompson on the White Pages. I called the credit account to advise them and they wanted; My Name, My Social and My Birthdate. I guess they can't read or understand anything past their SCRIPT. I advised them that this was a fraudulent transactions and I got the run a round again. I then called Littman and spoke with an elusive lady who called herself LORRETTA???? I had her pull the charge. I advised her that it was a fraudulent transaction because Carly Thompson does not exist to the best of my knowledge. She kept calling me Mr. Thompson. I kept telling her that is not my name, What a Marrone! Date 9/2/2016 - Amount $5081.42 - Carly Thompson Lorretta responded that they take a copy of a driver's license when someone opens an account. I asked to look at the driver's license address and the address on the account to see if they matched. Lorretta then said "Oh, I don't have a copy of the driver's license". I thought you said a minute ago you make copies? I advised her that whoever Carly Thompson was, that this person was not going to pay the bill. Maybe, you should kick this up to your security people. It sounds like someone at the company is part of the theft of the items. Lorretta made it so difficult to try and help them identify this fraudulent transaction that I had to discontinue dealing with such a rude person. So much for trying to help Littman, I guess they can work it out on their own months from now when TD Bank is coming for the $5,081.42. Maybe Lorretta is in on the scam? I just can't understand why she would make it so hard for me to help them identify this fraud. Oh Well Good Luck to you guys at Littman. Check your camera tapes before you copy over them. Get the photo out in the news of Carly Thompson and have this person arrested for committing fraud. Also, TD Bank Finance company for Littman was also notified and the same BOLOGNE with trying to assist them with starting a Fraud Prevention File with this transaction. Again, they wanted my; Name, Birthdate, Social Security Number. Good luck to TD Bank in trying to catch this criminal!
