My key got stuck in my front door , my husband and I tried for hours to get the key out and literally tried everything from ice in the key to contract the metal to WD40 we finally broke down and called a locksmith we made the initial call to ask about pricing and was told 15$ service charge and 39.99$ for labor be aware it took him over an hour to arrive and then only two or three minutes to get the key out . I was surprised and said to my husband that was quick and I couldn't believe it the locksmith's comment was and i quote " I am a locksmith no?" Well yes you are that's why I called you but no need to make me feel stupid and then he told me it was gonna be 160$ I was taken back by this because that is far from 65$ and with labor less than 5 minutes he tried to say it was because of his drive well if that's the case then no matter the time of day you need to let people know that the labor starts at the moment that teh starts his car long story short he got 65$ now b/c I am worried about the legitimacy if the transaction I'll be taking action to protect my financial security this is ridiculous be aware be very aware
