They sat me down with a direct view of the dirty kitchen, ( see pics) and no it wasn't busy so no excuse for the mess, kitchen staff, no hats, dirty aprons. I ordered the fried cheese and bacon burger, (see the pic) the waitress did bring more bacon crumbs after I asked if this was a normal portion. I was warned that the cheese would be hot. And it was but the burger was cold and well done not the medium that I ordered. That was probably a good thing though because the burger had that taste like it had been sitting in a pan with old brown blood. (Anybody that has any food service knowledge will know what I'm talking about) the 15 french fries were cold also.Oh and one more thing I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America so I know what I'm talking about. I usually make it a point to never eat at chain restaurants because of poor training and the willingness to serve substandard quality. Even the peanuts were stale. It was my first time trying Logan's and shame on me for not going to an independent. I will never be back. I do suggest that they hire a qualified kitchen manager and pay him a decent wage. Maybe the kitchen manager could improve food quality.

I always have great service from Megan and Scott. Even when things get hectic and fast -paced, they always check up on me. They make the experience very great for me. Food is always good and hot when they bring it to my table. I never feel like just another "number" to the company. Very friendly. I have no complaints when I request either one of them.

We were completely ignored. Did not have a waiter at our table for 25 minutes. Rolls took about 15 minutes after drinks arrived to find our table. Then the food...the "steakhouse Mac and cheese" that you pay extra for is just kraft Mac and cheese with shredded cheese thrown in. Not melted in, just thrown in and served. The steak was ordered Med. Rare and came out well done. The potatoes were cold. The refills on our drinks never arrived at our table. And they weren't even busy! Would rate 0 stars if I could.

I am very surprised this place is still in business. It was my husband's birthday, and he wanted to give this place a try. Since he has not been here in a while, and I had never been. We decided that it would be a good place to go for a family dinner for his birthday. When we entered, we were seated right away and our waitress was there within seconds of us sitting down. It started off pretty good, the first mishap was the waitress spilling butter on my father in law's pants. Which was no big deal, she apologized and got more napkins. But it took forever for us to get more butter, by the time we did get more. We did not have any rolls left, which was rather pointless. When we got our food, everything looked and smelled good. Then my husband pointed out that the steak that I ordered, was under cooked to the point that if I ate it I would get sick. Our waitress spent most of her time behind the bar, or was MIA in general. When we did see her, my father in law tried to call her over. She saw him and completely ignored us. It took us a while to even get a managers attention. When I told the manager that the steak was under cooked and she offered to replace it. Which I was more than happy to do, rather than take it off our bill. When I got my replacement steak, it was still under cooked! At that point I was done, I did not have a good time and I was mad that we had such a bad experience on my husband's birthday. This place has HORRIBLE wait staff, it shows that they rather talk to each other than take care of their customers. As a server myself, I would be fired immediately if I did this at my work. It is not only the under cooked steak that made my experience bad, it was being ignored by our waitress, service was extremely slow and unprofessional for how slow the restaurant was. The dirty glass that they gave my husband to drink out of. Logan's on schoolcraft in livonia is lucky to even get one star, they are only getting it because I have no choice but to give them it. Myself including my family will not be returning to this place anytime in the future! I am not the only one to receive bad service there either. A man in the booth behind me, had the same waitress was tired of waiting for her to pay his bill. He searched for her, no one wanted or could find her, so he and his wife walked out. Again, if I did this at my job, I would be fired!

I planned on taking a short late lunch today by calling ahead, and placing a carry-out order that would be ready when I arrived. It was 1:45pm on a Wednesday, so it wasn't busy at all. I work 15 minutes away and I called as soon as I got in my car on my way there. I was put on hold, and by the time they got back to the phone, 15 minutes had passed and I was in the parking lot walking up. When I walked in, I was greeted by the person that I spoke with on the phone and he said that he had been busy helping all of the servers. Obviously the customer is Not First at this place. Since I could no longer take a short lunch, I sat down and waited another 30 minutes for my salmon to come to the table. Slow Phone Service AND Slow Food Preparation! I can't imagine how long it would take at noon if it there were more than 8 customers here. I'm sure customers have figured out that this is a Terrible lunch choice for a lunch hour! On top of the slow cooking staff, they make it worse by Terrible Phone Carry-Out Service, so you can't get around the Slowness. I don't know how this place stays in business!
