My best friend was getting married and of all the times to not check his equipment, he failed to check the sub RIGHT before the wedding reception. At 6:02 I heard them say, "the sub isn't working". Without hesitation, I called Long and McQuade and sure enough, someone answered. Unfortunately, they were closing at 6, not 7pm. I explained my situation and told them I could be there in minutes so the person on the phone put me on hold and came back to say that yes, they were closing all their tills, but if I came immediately to the back door and rang the bell, someone would be able to take care of me. I zipped over and they were able to rent me a sub for the night, on the spot, super fast and inexpensive. I could tell they knew they were doing us a solid, but man, did they ever make me look good. My best friend's brother saved our wedding by showing up with fresh out of the oven baguettes. This was my repayment. A dance party with no Sub woofer is no dance party at all! You guys ROCKED IT! :)

In the line of Music they have everything you need. Employees know what they're talking about. Customers range from novice to expert. Their in-house lessons are awesome.

I went in with virtually no knowledge of what I wanted. I'm a beginner guitar player, and I was looking for strings. Not only did the guy help me out, but he saved me from wasting money on something that wouldn't work. I didn't leave with my guitar strings, but I left with a great deal of knowledge (and some know picks). Unfortunately, I didn't catch the gentleman's name, but he was incredibly helpful. He didn't treat me like an idiot, and took the time to make sure I didn't waste money buying something that I wouldn't be able to use. I will be back, very soon. A great experience all around.
