I come here for lunch often. Reasonable prices. Always have great service and the food is good. I've never encountered a big crowd at lunch. Great place for business lunch, too, since the dining room is not too loud. You can have a conversation without yelling.

I took my family to dinner tonight and had an unpleasant experience. In all fairness our server was excellent. Chris was attentative, kind and understanding. Halfway through my meal I noticed an insect in my salad still alive. Now, obviously it was somehow among the produce but it was still enough for me to no longer want to eat if the greens were not washed well. Our server apologized and immediately wanted to bring the manager over. He handled it really well. When the manager came over he did not introduce himself other than he was the manager...then after a short apology he just explained that their produce is so fresh that this can happen (though it’s a problem of cleanliness). He offered to give me another salad but I had already eaten half and did not care to waste more food...especially since I could not trust that the produce was washed well. He gave us a free appetizer coupon but really did not seem at all concerned about the situation. The odd thing was that they still charged us full price. Nothing was comped but just a coupon for an appetizer. I’m rating it one star because that’s poor business and worse management. I paid for a dinner that became inedible yet still paid full price...I didn’t ask for a new one to go or a free meal, but comping half or all of my entree would have been a better business practice. It would’ve shown me that you stand behind your produce and recognize that this was not worth full compensation. Management of this restaurant needs changing for the serving staff were really great.

Really friendly staff and quick seating. I'm not a big steak eater, so it's nice they have delicious options that aren't steaks.

I don’t normally talk negative about a business on google however I really wish Longhorn in Brier Creek would get their act together. I’ve been here several times because I’m a steak person and they are ALMOST ALWAYS SLOW weather there’s just myself and one other person, four of us, or eight or more. I don’t know what’s the hold up on the kitchen but they have got to start doing a better job getting food out in a timely manner. Also, the place doesn't seem to be clean enough. They need to be more thorough in cleaning the tables, silverware, and glasses. I end up cleaning the table myself with hand sanitizer and asking for new silverware. My last complaint is for this to be considered a nice restaurant, many of the booth seats are torn or ripped in some way. That is NOT cool when you’re on a date and have on tights or stockings. I don’t want to have a total of $80 or so at the end of the night at any “nicer” resturant when my stockings will be ripped because the seats are crappy. McDonalds seat are way better! On a positive note the food is good most of the time when we get it and the drinks from the bar are good too. This place could be great if they tightened up cleaning procedures, upholstered the furniture, and reduced guest wait times.
