I don't know about you, but I find more and more places are incapable of cooking steak to the desired degree. I typically ask for medium, but routinely get medium-well or well; I've tried to out think the issue by asking for steak to be medium-rare, but I still get the same result. That is not the case at LongHorn, the steak was perfect. The waitress was great; the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable; the prices were very reasonable. I've had lunch or dinner here many times, the experience is always a good one.

Met family for dinner at about 4:30 today. Steaks we're really good but everything else was just 'meh'....except the desserts which were great. Server was great. Very long line waiting at entrance when we left. Typical chain restaurant meal.

I have been eating at the Long Horn in Reading MA. since he opened, mostly using gift cards people give us during the holidays. Yesterday's visit was the first time I got a decent meal there. It was the outlaw ribeye. They must have a new cooker or a new chef, it was done perfect. If I get two meals in a row that are decent I'll consider raising my star raking to three. With one good meal in 9 years I see no reason to rush!

Went towards the end of the night. Place was a mess. Straw wrappers and napkins everywhere. Place was half full so not sure why nothing was cleaned up.  Service was good. Food wasn't anything special. Typical chain restaurant quality.

Food was ok. Nothing outstanding to match prices. Skimpy portions, loaded baked potato was good, however again, surprised w stinginess of toppings. Had a large party, called ahead to be certain of seating, yet still left cramped together , having to wait for another table to be cleared and left for us to rearrange tables, seating, etc. Waitress not as attentive as we would have liked, management beyond unhelpful w seating. Considering approc $400. spent, left dissatisfied.
