As a loyal customer of Lord and Taylor for more than 40 years, I am so upset right now that I can't even think straight. Last night, online, I tried to access my account to purchase an electronic gift card as a Christmas gift. I was told my password was incorrect and to ask to reset it, which I did. The link they sent me was expired (it said it would expire in 24 hours if not used; this was less than 2 MINUTES). I tried 2 more times to reset it all with the same result. Then I tried the phone number I was given, and the woman I spoke with told me she would reset it. That didn't happen and then I finally spoke with someone who told me it takes 24 hours. Well, it's now 24 hours and no results here either. Again, I called and was told another 24 hours from now and it will be unlocked. So, now I called the Trumbull store and was told by the manager, that I cannot buy a gift card over the phone and that I couldn't be helped by anyone there tonight, but to please call the number that I've been calling for the past two nights! All I want to do is purchase an e gift card! I've never heard of any business not willing to make a purchase. I think Lord and Taylor and I will be parting ways after this.

I was a long time customer of Lord & Taylor. They have gone down in every way! Their selection is horrible, their online offers are quite good but their online service is THE WORST!!! They cancelled a much needed Christmas present just days before (10 days after order placed) but won't give me refund for 3-5 biz days! Returned another item ordered online in the store to exchange for same item in another size, wouldn't even apply cost, have to wait another 3-5 biz days for it to go back to my account! Their "sales people" for the most part are young, snotty girls....considering brick & mortar are going down they're sunk with their horrible customer service - called many times, can't understand a thing said as they all have heavy accents, make mistakes, can't answer questions...they'll be out of biz within a couple of years! They've lost a lifelong customer in me!

Associate in the laundry department was super her customer service attitude was impeccable so much that I felt comfortable to talk to her about a situation that I am dealing with which had nothing to do with my two piece lingerie I wanted. I believe that the Spirit choose her to be there at a time as this. I didn't take her name but was awesome it people like these that we need to encounter with as I walked feeling encouraged. May God bless her abundantly.

Very nice store. Up to date w/fashion and trends. Very good prices and good quality of clothing. Worth the trip.

Taylor, in the Perfumes Department, was absolutely fabulous and delivered an impeccable customer service, which made up completely for the unpleasant experience that occurred a day before, because of an unprofessional and unfrjendly employee in the jewelry section (an older lady with blonde hair) Taylor offered me various suggestions, was courteous and knowledgeable, kind and genuinely interested in helping me.
