Hell on earth. Rude and inconsiderate, lie to your face, provide false and misleading information, no consistency in their rules, inefficient and slow. Require you to call a customer service center, and they provide different information and phone numbers, and workers at this office blame you for being given wrong information by customer service. Many are extremely unprofessional, will hang up on you if you point out (politely) an inconsistency or circular reasoning, and you will be sent on wild goose chases. They talk over each other on the intercom, and if they call your name, better make sure you read their lips, because they're often inaudible. It doesn't matter how polite you are, they will often treat you like are subhuman. But you have to be polite as possible anyways, or they won't help you. They don't sympathise with clients (this is SOCIAL work, isn't it?), much less empathise or guide. They expect you to know their internal lingo, document types, and processes, without explaining it to you. Entirely unfriendly for children, prepare to bring up to 3 meals and entertainment for each of your kids even if you are there early. And be prepared to return (you know, instead of looking for work), because undoubtedly they will say you forgot a paper which they didn't tell you to bring over the phone.

This is on behalf of someone else who tried to make a better life for her family at the same time her income needed reporting. Tara had taken a second job with promises of hours, promotion, which they never fulfilled. She has loaded her information now and her worker never answers the phone, ever i have even tried. We have a 559 area code which seems to be a problem with these people. This is how mobile phones work now, they are portable! Thanksgiving is here and the worker is never there when she goes in person, won't load anything and now it's either food or gas money. Guess which we have to choose. if they aren't going to do their jobs have a listing of food banks. Shame on all of them!

this office has not changed at all I would think with all of these bad and unacceptable reviews that someone would actually do something about these so call workers. they act as if they are giving us the money or food stamps out of their own pocket I went to apply Monday and told them my current situation which is not great and plead with them. just to ensure me by Wednesday I would have some type of help its Friday I been calling the office and to my surprise no one is answering their phone or just keep giving me the run around saying its the intake worker fault no its the supervisor fault.. Blanca Romero how can you be a supervisor when you fail to even pick up your phone. Sorry we all can't be doing great like the workers her but we are just as important and human like the rest of you and to be treated as we are lower is unacceptable and hurtful I been calling all morning and still no response and no food stamp. can someone please fire all of these so call supervisor because they aren't even doing their bare minimum job to answer their dam phone... I will be calling the Pomona district office to let them no about this horrible horrible so call job that their doing..... SMFH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so frustrated with this office! they give you worker after worker after worker. They give you phone numbers which nobody EVER answers. This is all such a joke!!!!!! You would think with all these bad reviews being posted someone in their organization would do something about all them BS. Even emails do not get answered. This is the RUDEST office of employees I have ever dealt with. They do not deserve any stars but you can only post if one is given...wth???

These so called workers n supervisors need to be retrained and supervised of thier job duties. And this number for customer service is no good,it sends you on a goose chase. It's bad enough that these families have no food or money, and get treated like crap when we do what is asked of us. How bout those workers trade life's with the needy people and give them a taste of what they been giving. REALITY CHECK
