They employees work hard at providing good service. I would say 85% of the time I get my business sorted out. The other 15% is because I didn't asked the right question(s). Once I do my part and learn what I'm trying to ask, I get the answer I'm looking for. Sometimes, I don;t like the answer but there is always a way to fix the issue. Often, it takes more time than what I think is reasonable, but hey.. think thousands of people and communication sometimes can be an issue. Our LA City and County employees are challenged daily by their rude, mouthy LA residents: I'm in a rush, give it to me now, I tell your boss your not helpful, I'll get you fired, complaining ass people. Chill out.

I am 77 and after 50 years of living in a home i moved based upon the idea of Prop 90 and 60, that I could transfer my original property tax base. But no. I am now supposed to pay 10,000 more and I can speak to noone about this. To make matters worse, all communication is sent to my old address, taking the post office weeks and months to forward my mail, but I am to pay on the new address. This is an antiquated system, running of course in favor of the tax collector's office.

Wow, the lady at the ownership office is a real "special". She could not understand the question a simple question with respect to name change no matter how many times it was repeated. She seemed incompetent, though it's no surprise.

Not pleasant experience, bad service. The service guy hanged up on me for asking questions. So poorly managed.
