Bring a good pair of shoes cause you’re gonna walk a lot here. It can be a big hike if you have to switch terminals. 

It’s lacks many options to grab a meal on extended layovers and the seating areas fill up fast meaning you’ll either have to stand or sit on the floor. 

It’s quite dirty.  It needs a good cleaning and some modernization.  

There is nothing for kids to do here.  No play areas. 

Didn’t feel like the most efficient airport I’ve been to.

Visited while traveling from and back to Dallas. Overall good impression.. Signs were easy to follow.. And when I flew out, security was moderate so just arrive early.. Pretty common for airports, nothing new. Terminal was nice, lots available to eat and shop around before your flight. Not a bad experience.. Will look forward to any returns.

LAX seems ancient to me. It definitely needs an update. It's not very efficient and some of the ways they do things seem strange. The Starbucks was very slow, there were very few people there when I arrived yet I waited an extraordinary amount of time for a bagel. I try to smile and just enjoy it though. It's an airport, not a luxury spa or something. Everyone was generally polite to me.

The airport itself is very much dated. It could use with a major renovation. I have been to Hanoi airport in Vietnam, which I thought was very dated but I could accept that in Vietnam. This is supposed to be LA. Why does it look so dreary? Isn't this where all the Hollywood stars are meant to reside? Isn't this supposed to be home to Beverley hills, some of the most expensive and beautiful properties out there? At least have an airport that reflects this! Unbelievable!

Terminal 2 seems pretty nice. I believe it was recently updated. Luggage drop at Delta was fast. Getting through security was efficient. There are quite a few restaurants and shops to get a snack or meal. Delta has a pretty nice club room here for members or purchase a day pass.
