What a quaint beautiful Italian establishment. All the products are high quality. I recommend this place for folks who want more authentic yet healthy Italian ingredients. Their soup and pastries are incredible. Will come back again for lunch
Absolutely love this place. Great sandwiches, great staff and a cute little deli vibe. You can grab local drinks with your meal or grab some peppers to go for home. Never disappointed here. We always grab our sandwiches to go and we live 20 min away and they are never soggy when we get home.
Canolies by far the best!! Didn't try sandwiches but do we regret it they looked so yummy definitely going back as a regular! I do recommend trying I'm sure you'll agree!!
Excellent sandwiches. I was rushed to take pics so they are not doing justice to these wonderful sandwiches. But, I will definitely be back to get better pics. You should definitely go down and check it out for yourself.
This place knows the meaning of Italian food. I got the minestrone soup, which came with delicious fresh bread. The soup was very seasoned and flavorful. My boyfriend got the meatball sub, and he rated it a 7/10. He said the meatballs were a little too big for his preference. I don't remember what my friend got but you can see in the picture it's a big chonky sub. Definitely worth the stop! I also remember it wasn't very expensive and we got to try a canoli sample bc the girl was making them up right in front of us and oh my it was HEAVENLY.
What a gem this place is. I know of no other place in Denver where you can get a chicken cutlet sandwich, let alone one this good! The bakery items are also fantastic and authentic. First place I've found in Denver that reminded me of food I grew up with in NYC. Hands down, best chicken sandwich in Denver! Food is consistently great. If I lived closer to the location, I'd probably gain 20 lbs and be a regular for take out. Sadly, I'm limited to visiting on occasional weekends. Experience on Toast Takeout app with Lou's is also great and have never had a mishap. Highly recommend you give both a try.
My mother in law recommended this place. I gotta say, it is amazing! Had a sub, cannoli, and a Tip Top Bees Knee's. The cannoli is big enough to share. I will warn you the Tip Top cans bees knees are STRONG! I had a big sip thinking it was light and just about choked because of how strong it was my fault should've read the label. Haha. Oh but it was all delicious! Parking's a little tricky but if you're lucky enough you can park in the nearby residential area.
I love Lou’s! Super NY feel to this joint. Deli staples and some surprises as well. Porchetta sandwich was the bomb with whatever magical juice it comes to dip in. Can’t go wrong with a good Italian sandwich either. Dig the beer/wine selection to tote home with the snacks.
I've discovered this little gem which is closer to a New York Italian deli. I even meet a Colorado Senator. By the way look menu I tried all the sanwhiches
It would be great to try one of their sandwiches, their incredibly discriminatory policy of refusing cash prevents those without credit cards or bank accounts from doing so. This policy is not only discrimination, it is against the law per HB21-1048 Retail Business Must Accept Cash which was put in place so that those from lower income brackets, often minorites, are able to purchase goods and services without a bank account or credit card. Considering the neighborhood which this deli resides is a very mixed demographic of race and socioeconomic groups, one would think they would embrace everyone in the community. I told the cashier I was unable to pay with any electronic payment because my current financial situation made me unable to have a credit card or open a bank account but would gladly purchase a sandwich with the cash I had in my pocket, and she refused. When I informed her this was illegal, she challenged me to report them.
