Honestly a big mistake coming here. If you’re looking for good service, this isn’t it chief. They collect tips when you pay. I tip based off how good the service is. Not before I order. They also gave me a butter knife to cut my food with. Below average at best. Everything looks really good in the photos but it’s a catfish y’all. It’s not very tasteful and also get a load of that dessert. The cake was harder than a stone in Iceland and the size of a spoon. $10 for that dessert too. I’m not sure what’s going on here but I definitely won’t be back. Very disappointing.
It was such a pleasure to dine here. Everything I had heard about this place was true. The chef gave me a complementary sourdough and I don't have the words to express how good it was. The Stracciatella, prosciutto and the balsamic vinegar on the sourdough was finger licking good.I had ordered cucumber salad and finished the entire bowl by myself. For the mean meal I got to taste their handmade rigatoni and as expected was made with fresh ingredients. Definitely a must try if you are in Denver.
I cannot say enough about this place. I’ve been here twice in the last month and both experiences were mouth-watering, positive, and cozy. I love the counter service system, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful when asking for recommendations. Shout out to the Sous-chef Peter for always taking the time to deliver the food and give a run down of ingredients. He also checked in both times I visited to see how we were liking the food. Such a personal touch to speak with him directly about the dishes. I attached pictures of the food I ordered, quantity is generous for the price. I’m still thinking about the artichokes and the squid ink pasta. They just added cocoa fettuccine to their menu and WOW I couldn’t get enough. Keep up the good work, I can’t wait to come back.
A great little place with a great focus on food. It’s all counter service but you get the food delivered to your table. Drinks were well made but the food itself was off the charts. Extremely flavorful and the homemade pasta is definitely something to try. I recommend that you try this place out if you’re in the neighborhood
All the pasta was pretty dry with the exception of the fettuccine. The sweetness is the fettuccine was strange at first, but you start to like the taste after a bit. All the ingredients seemed high quality. Counter service to order yet still have the tip button.
Such a great dinner. The food was delicious. We had the artichokes and sourdough bread to start. Thenn we go chicken parm & the rigatoni. Both were so good. The atmosphere was nice as they has classical music playing the whole time. I will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
With a nice place I can’t believe the people they have working there wearing sweats the blonde host Take more pride for the place where you work! For the price I like places where there are better dress codes. Honestly the food was pretty terrible. The host actually recommended it and I wish we hadn’t ordered it. The sauce tasted of no real flavor and for the price I would of been happier going some where else. I don’t recommend this place at all. Not a place for people who actually know good food.
Saturday evening dining means a very, very long wait. We were told 45 mins yet waited over 90 minutes to get seated. Meanwhile, we could visibly see a table for 4 that was empty for most of that time. The food was good, but the Alcohol options are extremely limited and way over priced. For my first visit to Denver, I wasn't impressed. Limited menu, limited seating and getting personal service at your table shouldn't require you to keep getting in line at the bar........
Great food with great service! I’d say the music was a little too loud. We were sitting for awhile not knowing we had to order at the bar because our server was explaining how to but the music over powered her voice, but besides that the food and drinks were great!!
Fast casual but delicious dining! Everyone was happy to discuss their favorite menu items and things were ready so quickly! Dio Mio supported me as a front line worker in the pandemic at the hospital during COVID and I am happy to support this business. We all get by with a little help from our friends, and the humans made me feel like a friend. This was a perfect meal ahead of a performance at DCPA by the Colorado Ballet for Dracula. We arrived shortly after they opened at 5pm with 6 people and had no trouble getting a seat with them even on a Friday. We did sit outside, not sure that there is a ton of room for a big top if the weather doesn't comply. We had the rigatoni, chicken parm, squid ink pasta, and cassarece. Rigatoni and Squid Ink pasta had a bit of spice to them which I love but I know it's not for everyone. The cassarece was my favorite, and the sourdough and brussel sprouts apps were FANTASTIC. THANKS DIO MIO! HIGHLY RECOMMEND WOULD RETURN. Thanks again for feeding me during those crazy days at the hospital at the beginning of the pandemic
