Cart-Driver
"A wood-fired pizzeria and oyster bar tucked inside shipping containers in the heart of the River North neighborhood. Populated by regulars and out-of-towners alike, Cart-Driver is RiNo's melting pot for great conversation and conviviality in a casual setting. With a focused menu featuring southern-Italian inspired antipasti, pizza, and sustainable seafood, as well as organic wines, batched cocktails, and a rotating list of craft beers. Join us for a Spritz in the courtyard, or cozy up to the fire with a glass of Barbera. We'll look forward to serving you Neapolitan-inspired, artisanal pizza and freshly shucked oysters on the half shell and give you some recommendations of other spots to check out in Denver. See you soon!"

Tiny place that packs a punch! Location/Space - Cart Driver is located right along Larimer St where all the action is. We went around 3:30/4pm on a Sunday so it wasn’t too busy at all. While the place is small, they really maximized their space since they have a little upper rail where you can put your food to share with the rest of the table. Food- We got a dozen of their happy hour oysters, which were really yummy. They do not come with cocktail sauce but don’t be afraid of their own homemade hot sauce that is on their tables. It had a great flavor! As for the pizzas, we got the Cart-Driver and the Clam. We also got a little side of marinara to dip our Cart Driver in and they were so nice to warm it up for us. Staff- super friendly! They helped make some recommendations and were quick to help if we needed anything else.
Was in Denver a couple nights for the nuggets game. This might be the best pizza I’ve eaten to date. Had the peppers pie. Was so good the first time that i had to come back the next night and get the same thing. Second time around i had the chocolate cake as well but i personally wasn’t a big fan of it, maybe someone else is. Staff was super friendly and seemed like a nice place to dine in even though both times i took my pie to go. All in all, if you’re in Denver, this place is a must try for anyone craving some pizza.
Loved everything about this place. Their pizzas tasted great—we got the Cart-Driver and the Daisy. The Daisy might be the best margherita pizza we have ever had. Which is interesting because it’s such a simple pizza yet something about it made it taste beyond others’. Their hot sauce was also super tasty but VERY hot, so be careful. And this is just me having been in operations before but this restaurant’s efficient operations also impresses me. The design of the place and the tables with area elevated to rest the pizzas is also brilliant. And the staff was super friendly and attentive. Overall a superb experience!
I loved this place so much I wanted to save my pizza for when I got home...after all they say after 5 bites you don’t notice “taste” anymore if you eat the same thing! This is my place to go to as a New York City pizza lover! Personally I also have to add that they definitely nailed it with the style that matches the container. If you are looking for a high vibing space where there is good food, great vibes, and amazing drinks... stop by here or make a trip out of it- #WorthIt
Pizza and oysters may sound like a weird combo but really what's not to like. We ordered the focaccia with liver mousse, fall pizza, and 2 of each oyster they had. Loved every single item without a single complaint. This is my new favorite pizza place in Colorado. My only regret is we didn't try the clam pizza, but I will have something to look forward to next time I am back.
It is a weird place that first frustrated me and than surprised! The fact that was packed and nobody was telling us that we could sit whenever we wanted was frustrating… finding a spot without having any help was not the best experience. However, as soon we found a place and had the pizza we had to wait 1 hour for food… it was super packed I forgot all the problems. Pizza was great… crust was light and flavorful… ingredients were good quality. They saved themselves with the food… and that’s for me the most important! So, 5 stars earned!
In the area exploring the street art. This place came up on Google for nearest bites and decided to check it out. The place looks small in side but they have a big back patio with well placed misters. We ordered the clam pizza without the pork and the mushroom pizza. We loved both so much. I wouldn’t be able to choose one or the other. I would say the arugula that comes on top of the mushroom pizza could use a little bit less salt. Other than that. Next time I am in Denver with the hubby. Definitely stopping by.
PIZZA IS A MUST. I also got their charity beer that included a Paloma shot. Very dangerous if you take them both down without food in front of you beer was nice and light, a Mexican lager. We got the Peppers pizza and added veggies! Also got one of their salads which was nice and fresh!
Delicious, light, and flavorful pizza in a cozy spot with a cool vibe. Food and drinks are pretty pricey but it was worth it for a special experience. Place is also very small so you’ll likely have a very hard time getting seating on a busy night especially with larger groups.
The vibe of this place was as if all the stereotypically white hipster attributes were aggressively condensed into one area. The place in RiNo is TINY, so instead of the intended bustling vibe of a real pizza joint, it becomes rather loud and intrusive to the entire eating experience. The wait to get the pizza was over an hour long tonight but I have no complaints; there were like 7 ppl running this entire place from cooking to serving to bussing. Fortunately, I didn’t hate the food. In fact, it’s really good! Was it the best pizza I’ve had or worth the wait? No, but it was really tasty and the combination of ingredients are fun. I got the clam-pancetta pizza and it was as deep in flavor as I expected. The pancetta added a nice richness and the whole garlic added a ton of mellow sweetness. The chicken liver mousse and the oysters were quite good. That said it’s really pricey for a pizza place so be prepared to spend a pretty penny.
