I've had LA Citizens Insurance for 12-years and had to file 2-claims, one post Katrina and another for a chimney that collapsed during a hail storm. Both times they were easy to deal with. An adjustor was at my home within 24-hours of my call and a fair settlement was paid in less than 2-weeks. There were no hassles at all. However, the premiums were outrageous and increasing yearly. I dropped them to go to another company, the premiums were $2000 less a year, but the wind/hail deductible is $6000 higher. I think it's a good trade off. I hope my new company will be as good to deal with if I ever have to file a claim.

I don't want to give these people any stars, more like -5 stars. This is the worst company I ever had to give money to. My balance kept going higher and higher every bill which wasn't the price I signed up for. The people in the office all kept giving me different prices on what my bill should be. They had no idea what they were doing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS SO CALLED HORRIBLE COMPANY.
