Clean store with a really large inventory. That's really what brings me back. However, make sure you have the Lowe's app on your phone. It's the only way you'll get help finding anything. If you do need an employee, you can usually find a large gaggle of red smocks usually standing around chatting. Looking up items on the app is so much easier as it usually shows you the aisle and bay the item is in.

If you're buying flooring or anything that requires associates figuring up price or writing up figures/charges always double check. I paid $35 for them to come measure for carpet. The $35 was supposed to be credited toward price of carpet & padding. This is how simple it should have been cost of carpet ＋padding - $35 credit I already paid. Simple right? Their system however came up cost of carpet + $35 + padding with less $35. This would be fine but why did they add $35 back in. Their associates and manager Candice could not grasp that even if you give me the credit of $35 off the padding, if you add $35 back in it's not a credit given. I'm not making this up. I was there about 2 & 1/2 hours trying to explain and show them on paper. They could not grasp it. SCARY! This is the result of lack of discipline and education. Can't blame the teachers when kids just don't want to learn. All 3 of the associates including the manager all looked to be in their 20's. I'm 52 and I was stunned how they did not grasp simple math. They kept referring me to the system and how the system prints this out and it is what it shows. I couldn't get them to add it up themselves.

If your a contractor and use the contractor-pro desk be prepared to be searched as you leave the store....... this just started in the past month if you check out at the regular check out yp u don't get searched. I shop a lot of Lowe's and have never had this happen. Was in Grapvine Lowe's and ask as I was leaving the contractor-pro desk about being searched and was told IT'S NOT COMPANY POLICY why is the Irving store doing that.

I purchased a washer and dryer on two separate visits and both times were not good experiences. The 1st visit, I purchased a washer and had to wait over 30 mins for someone to bring my washer from the back to the front for me to take home. Then I waited another 15 mins for someone to push it out the store for me to load it in the back of my truck. The 2nd visit, I purchased a dryer online and went to the store to pick up. Once AGAIN I waited for over 30 minutes for someone to bring it from the back to the front. While I was waiting one of the ladies working the customer service desk asked one of their colleagues "Gary" to go get it and he replied, "No I don't want to do that." They all looked at him as well as I did and I will assume our looks changed his mind. When he returned, instead of helping me take it to my truck outside, he dropped it off and left. One of the ladies asked me if I needed assistance loading and I said yes. She called a code over the PA System for someone to help me, but they never came after 15 mins so I ended up loading it with the assistance of my 12 year daughter and 8 year old son. LOWES please work on your customer service because with 2 bad visits back to back doesn't make me want to shop there again or any other LOWES location.

Literally the worse service imaginable! No one in the store knows what they are doing. The associate mgrs sit on their rears and are lazy. They do not listen to the customer and will switch orders without customer approval. Avoid this store like the plague! ANY OTHER Lowes! Just not this one!
